This album is straight up sexy time, self-described as "the Bee Gees on Diazepam." The Liverpool trio's full length debut on Domino records is stellar and ready to dance.
Written initially in a cabin in the isolated Norwegian mountains, with followup sessions in a secluded cottage in North Wales, the forthcoming selftitled album was finished and perfected in their studio in a disused school in Liverpool. The record was finished in London with producer Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes, M.I.A, Hot Chip). A total democracy, the band write all music and lyrics together. Born of long, late nights, dreamy melodies, supple psychedelics and gorgeous midnight disco grooves – this is the sublime, swirling sound of All We Are.
All We Are are a global gathering made up of Ireland’s Richard O’Flynn (drums, vocals), Norway’s Guro Gikling (bass, vocals) and Brazil’s Luis Santos (guitar, vocals), who met at university in Liverpool. Look for tour dates around the world with tour mates like Warpaint, London Grammar, and Jungle.
Domino. Heard of it? Of course you have. One of the great indie labels, Domino formed in 1993 in London and now has global outposts in Brooklyn, France, and Germany. From Arctic Monkeys to Dirty Projectors, Domino is a global trendsetter in music.
